Marija Koseska, MA, IP attorney at the Intellectual Property Agency BERIN, for the latest issue of the magazine IN Store writes about Infringement of Intellectual Property Rights on the Internet.
"In order to provide protection against online infringement , it is especially important that the holder of the intellectual property right to have a proactive approach in the Internet world, but also outside of it. It is needed urgent action to ensure that incriminating content is no longer available online. This can be helped by companies that perform web-based screening, that is, surveillance of Internet providers and the leading e-commerce platforms. Given that every minute of the publication on those websites exponentially increases the risk of irreversible damage to the brand - time is essential."- conclues Koseska.
